We hire under audit. Not on slogans.

Every role at ThroughPortal.com sits inside the same accountability surface as our operations. Open positions are reviewed by the relevant Meridian/9 sub-committee before they are posted. The list below is current.

How we work

Every team operates under independent oversight from Meridian/9. Every standing protocol is signed off by the responsible team and the board. Performance reviews are quarterly, public, and cross-checked against the documented audit standard.

We do not run on heroics. We run on procedures we can defend, instruments we can read, and people who are paid to point out what is wrong with the system. If that is a culture you would refuse, this is not the place.

HR-046-001 Engineering

Senior Aperture Engineer

Own a portion of the Aperture Engine codebase end to end. Ship phase-lock and stabilisation improvements, debug live drift events in coordination with the Pier C operations desk, and write the technical reports that get audited at the end of every quarter.

  • 8+ years systems / control engineering, ideally distributed real-time
  • Comfortable being woken up by a holding action and being precise about it
  • Track record of writing public technical specifications
  • You can read and amend the white paper without translation
HR-046-002 Operations

Return Vector Analyst

Maintain the active return manifest for every scheduled transit. Verify that the inverse vector is correctly armed before the outbound aperture commits. Co-publish CB-3 compliance reports with the Northwell Archive desk and the Meridian/9 audit team.

  • Background in continuity research, navigation systems or similar
  • Comfortable with formal protocols (CB-3) and quarterly external review
  • You can hold an opposing position calmly in a board meeting
  • Familiarity with the vector and holding action definitions before day one
HR-046-003 Oversight Liaison

Public Trust Officer

Represent ThroughPortal.com to public bodies, civil oversight forums, the press and the broader continuity community. Translate operational decisions into plain language without losing precision. Refuse to translate them when translation would mislead.

  • 5+ years public affairs, regulatory or science communication
  • You can write a refusal letter that is correct, dignified and unambiguous
  • Comfortable holding the line in front of a hostile camera
  • Working proficiency in EN + at least one of FR / DE / ES
HR-046-004 Catalogue

Catalogue Surveyor (Rotation)

Join the catalogue committee. Travel under supervised transit. Survey candidate signatures, characterise drift behaviour, and produce the characterisation reports that determine whether a route ever enters the public atlas — or stays sealed inside Meridian/9.

  • Field experience in extreme environments + protocol-driven surveying
  • Independence: you will spend long periods away from Pier C
  • Comfortable with the fact that some surveys will be archived under §4.2 sealed
  • Medical fitness for sustained supervised transit (we run the checks)
HR-046-005 Public Records

Public Log Editor

Maintain the public log (TH-JL-046). Receive every incident report, every catalogue change, every governance update; write the public-facing version within the Article §4.2 framework — publishing what we are prepared to vouch for, confirming what is restricted, and never naming what is sealed.

  • Editorial background: institutional writing, science journalism, or comparable
  • Comfortable being told 'don't publish this' and asking why one more time
  • You enjoy clean reference systems (TH-, OS-, TR-, TJ-)
  • You read the existing journal and want to make it sharper

Open positions are advertised under reference TH-HR-046. Applications received outside the normal review window are routed to the next quarterly intake. Speculative applications for roles that are not currently open are welcomed via the access form.
